I am compiling a study regarding juveniles who have been sentenced to life without parole.
I would be very grateful for any names, if you know of any. This information is largely not documented.
Thanks in advance for any information or help...

PattiHi Patti:
I am not looking for any personal information, If you or anyone, can provide me with any names I can then check their details with the DOC, but what I would like to know is.
Name,
DOB
Age at the time of the crime
Do they currently have legal representation?
I am focussing on Alabama, but will take details of any juveniles who have LWOp in any other state, ... and if I have enough information to compile stats on other states, that would be wonderful... ..

Thank you ReikiMom:
I have received you information... thanks for you interest and help...
I recently responded to a previous PM and I thought it might be helpful to outline Rights of the Child, Article 37 (a) which states - no child shall be subjected to torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. Neither capital punishment nor life imprisonment without possibility of release shall be imposed for offenses committed by persons below eighteen years of age.

I do not know of any juvenile LWOP but am seeking juveniles who have been prosecuted federally -- they are (alarmingly) on the rise and being sentenced to guideline maximums. Any information would be appreciated

Send me a PM,if you like. Your study sounds interesting and I'd like to help any way I can.

Name: Kenneth Loggins
D.O.B: Sept 15, 1976
Age at time of Crime: 17
Place of Crime: Alabama
He was previously senteced to Death, and with the juvenile death sentence ruling of the US supreme court in Feb, he was given LWOP.
He does have very good representation at this time.
Hope this helps.
