:confused: My hubby told me today during a visit that he was hearing that they are cutting the Iowa DOC budget by 25 million dollars...and that they are sending inmates put for proale (can't spell sorry) that havent even gone threw treatment yet and putting them in a half-way house...does anyone kow anything about this? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is going on....HELP! LOL Christine!

I don't know if they are cutting back that much. My husband was in on drug charges and he only did 5 months on a five year sentence. They let him out the end of June. He hadn't done treatment yet. They put him on Intensive Parole and outpatient treatment was part of it

where was he doing his time at? in mt. pleasant?
