My cousin has been in prison for 10 years of a 20 year sentence. The parole board guide line recommendation sheet was for 7 years in prison but the board departed from their own guidelines. Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything that can be done? We are in Georgia. Is there any type of free legal aid that can be applied for?

We appreciate any suggestions or help.

Sorry I don't know about the legal stuff in GA, but I do know that you and all his family and good friends should write, call and even visit the parole board to request parole for him. Check out the parole website. Best of luck!

I would also recommend that you and your family write to the parole board, also if I am not mistaken you can visit the parole board the first Tuesday of every monty without an appointment. For more information call the parole board at 404-656-5651
