My husband is at Old Corcoran and I want to send him a quarterly package ( without him knowing I am sending it ) I have read all the posts I can find on this topic and still can't figure out the answers to my really simple questions. I have never sent a package before, I always send MO's but it is going to be his Birthday, and I want to surprise him. I have found what I want to send and from where, but my question is can I just send it now? Or does it have to be at a special date or what? Also, when I was filling out the order form, it asked me what # package this would be? 1,2,3, or 4. Is it 1 because this is the first package I have sent, or 3 because it is this package would be for the 3rd quarter for the year? Thanks for answering, whoever knows these answers, I know they are simple, but I just have never done this before. :)

To send quarterly packages, you now have to use authorized vendors. It seems the state wants a cut of the action, so you can no longer send your own package. The package number is for the current quarter of the year. The selections are of off-brands, probably cheap and very limited varieties. As usual they prosper on the backs of the poor. The only vendor I've found with a website is Access Secure at the following link:

I have found it takes about 2 weeks for it to get there.
