Hi Everyone,

I'm so glad to have found this website. My boyfriend was a self-surrender to the federal camp in Terre Haute, IN three months ago, serving a 24 month sentence. I'm finding the days go by so slowly, no matter how busy I keep myself and sometimes I just want to scream. He's 350 miles from here, but luckily I've been able to visit twice and we talk nearly daily by phone and have started a whole new love affair by snail mail. I've told him when he gets out and I want him to do some sweet talking, he'll be able to tell me to just "go read a letter" because they've shown me a side of him that he's generally unable to put into words. Although his family is all aware of his situation (he committed his crime and turned himself in before we even met), I've told only four good friends, so I'm glad to have this outlet where I can hopefully get to know some people in the same situation. From what I've read, everyone is very friendly and I'm thankful to be in such positive company.

HI and welcome to PTO Sydnee!!! It sounds as though you are just as happy as I was when I finally found PTO. I have made some really good friends by way of PTO and they are helping to make the time go by just a lil faster as well. God willing it will get easier for you. It's tough but we do what we do for love!!!!
Enjoy PTO and the friends you will make!!!

Welcome to PTO.....I assure you will find a great deal of information and even more deal of support here on PTO...the memebers on PTO are trully family. My boyfriend self surrendered in May of 2004 for a 24 month sentence, without PTO I don't know how I would be making it day to day....to have people to talk to or just vent at when times get tough makes a huge difference in the situation we are all so sadly connected by. Glad that you found this site and will look forward to your posts!
