Are there any GUYS on PTO standing by their lifer women? Just curious.... (or are females the only ones crazy enough to do this stuff? :) )

I'm a straight male but I don't write to any female prisoners, only males. One is serving 40 years, another has LWO, and one is on death row. It is my intention to stick with these guys for life.
However, I think that IF I was in a romantic relationship with a female Lifer, or if I was gay and was in love with a male Lifer, I really think I would not be faithful to them. I think I would stay in touch but also have someone out here. Of course, since I am not really in that situation I don't know what I'd do. I certainly do admire you ladies for your loyalty. When I used to visit my death row friend I was always impressed by the wives who visit their men every week, year after year.

Hey thanks Mike... and welcome!!! Well I guess I am like you, because i am not in an exclusive relationship with my lifer (mutual agreement). But like you say, to me it's about caring and sticking with him for life. It's good to hear you feel that way about your friends.

I don't know if others disagree, but heck, I've just inserted myself here because I fell I belong here, and happily I feel accepted! :D . To me this forum is about all of us who are loyal to our lifers -- could be lovers, bothers, sisters, friends or mothers -- and are willing to go thru it with them to the end.
