Eric's Homegirl

Let's see if this will post....I was talking to my husband Eric last night
about the Staph Infection problem at the Q. He relayed some interesting
facts. West Block consists of 5 tiers of cells, which equal to approx 92.
Staph Infection is spread from body contact. I felt like I wanted to toss my
cookies when he told me that the entire time that he was on West Block,
a inmate janitor came just once to clean his cell. Yuck!!! A janitor has
one bucket of fresh water, and some disinfect liquid to use on 92 cells. He goes into each cell and swishes that mop in each toilet, and then the floors,
and continues onward. Inmates wash their clothes in their toilets located in
their cells. Yuck!! Staph Infection lyes in waiting for it's next victim.
For the 2 and a half months that Eric was on West Block, which he added is
the most dirtiest, disgusting place to be, his cell was only cleaned once, if
that's what you want to call it, and he contracted Staph Infection, the one
on his hip the most serious of them all...San Quentin wastes thousands of dollars every day on medical supplies that they toss in the dumpster. I would
suggest that San Quentin try buying more productive articles to stop the
spread of Staph Infection and other air borne viruses instead of wasting our
precious resources on a trash dumpster. Suzi
