Does anyone know how you go about getting someone transferred to another facility????

A The Board of Pardons and Paroles does not transfer inmates, this is handled by the Department of Corrections. They can be reached at (334) 240-9500.

this is what the parole board's site said. but i believe it starts at the classification officer that the inmate is assigned at the prison he/she is located.

I know the inmates have a review ever so often by the classification officer and that
is who my son put in his request to but he didn't hear anymore about it until his review came along then he was transferred. But he told me that's who you send your transfer request to is the classification officer. I had heard the classification officer at Bibb was awful but she did right by moving my son out as soon as his custody level dropped and she didn't waste anytime doing it. He was moved out about 8 days after seeing her....so I have no complaints about her, he said she was a nice person.

I know that the guys has a yearly review and a bi-annually review. Mike had his in december and was granted a transfer. Then he had his this June and was still on the list for a transfer but it has not taken place yet. We have been waiting for 7 months. I thought I would either write brian Corbett or call cental records and ask about the transfers tomorrow, Will keep you posted.
