I found this website in May 2003 and it has really helped me through some rough patches. Without this site I don't know what I would have done for the past year and 2 months. I just wanted to share how life has been since my babe has been back........
My boyfriend O'Neil was released from a Texas state jail on the 25th of May after about 14 months for something he did when he was 17 yo. I live in MD, so through out the whole time I wasn't able to go and see him, couldn't talk to him on the phone or nothing because of finances. We kept in contact via letters so at 9am on May 25th, 2004 I got a call on my cell phone from my Boo!!!!!! I could have cried and 3 days later he was here in Maryland. He has been doing really good, we have had some rough patches because I have been living life out here and he has been kind of standing still. I have changed a good bit and even though I love him with all my heart I have doubted us from time to time. I have a nice job and just moved into a nice apartment and it has been fully furnished which is the first for both of us without roommates. He has been a little depressed because he couldn't get a job a week out of jail but I told him to be patient and encouraged him to keep going out there and over the 4th of July weekend he was hired at a position and job that is perfect a month after his release!!!!
He is still struggling with his criminal mind but I believe that his will to do good is so much stronger.
Please keep us in your thoughts,
Ezzy
