I WAS WONDERING HOW MANY PEOPLES VISITING LISTS YOU CAN BE ON IN IOWA. MY BROTHERS HAS BEEN IN AND OUT OF PRISON FOR ROUGHLY 9 YEARS NOW AND HE WAS OUT FOR A YEAR AND A HALF AND I WAS PUT ON ANOTHER PERSONS VISITING LIST. WHICH IS MY BOYFRIEND JUSTIN. NOW MY BROTHER HAS BEEN PUT BACK INTO PRISON AND I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD BE ON BOTH THEIR VISITING LISTS. IF I CAN'T I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO. I DON'T WANT TO CHOOSE BETWEEN MY BOYFRIEND AND MY BROTHER.

Hi Justin's Girl~ Ya, Im under the understanding also that you can only be on one inmates list at a time, but maybe if your already on your boyfriends list, they would make an exception to be on your brothers list because he is family. Cant hurt to try anyway. Goodluck, hope you can visit both, keep us posted ;)

Hi Justin's girl~

The rule is that you're only allowed to be on one persons visting list, but your brother can talk to his counselor and he can get it so that you can be on his list as well. It's not that hard really. They usually don't have a problem with it. Your man might need to talk to his counselor too, but I"m not sure about that. Your brother has to talk to his counselor about having you on his now that you're already on one.

Hope this helps.

Confuse the system! I did it! I wsa on one guys list, then I wanted to be off of it, then I got on another fella's list, then I 'met" another guy and was writing to him too and I got approved saying I was his cousin and they didn't realize I was on another list (I don't know how that slipped through but it did) It sucked having to pretend he was my cousin, all I could get was a hug and they were very suspcious of us so they watched us. I think they'd read our mail! Anyway, in one day, I visited Phillip in Clarinda then drove to Rockwell City to visit Ron. It was a LONG day, I'll tell you, with all that driving. But, unless this is common, it can be done. Good luck
