Putting your pantyhose in the freezer for a longer life may sound ridiculious, but doing so can actually prevent runs. Simply wet the pantyhose, place them in a plastic bag, and freeze them. After they freeze, remove the bag and dry the hose.
If your hands feel like the back of an armadillo, you can cause runs. Put a pair of cotton gloves on before you put your pantyhose on. At night before bed put petroleum jelly or olive oil all over your hands and wear a pair of cotton gloves. The next day soft. You can also do this to your feet put a pair of stocks on after you use the jelly or olive oil.
Wash your pantyhose by hand in a cold water detergent. If you want to wash your hose in the washing machine, put them in a mesh bag on the delicate cycle with cold water, never use hot. After you wash them, roll them in a clean, dry towel to remove excess moisture and them hang them to dry. Never wring them or put them in a dry............One way to save cost on pantyhose...It works. .......................minnie:cool:
