My fiance violated parole and in March they sentenced him to 1 year and have not yet sent him to prison they are still holding him in county. He should be in prison already why would they still be holding him in county. He is in Albany county Jail does anyone know who I could talk 2 to find out why they are still holding him in county. All his business is taken care of he has already been sentenced. I cannot get answeres from anyone and I am unable to visit him or talk 2 him the only way of communication is letters and I have not received one in 2 weeks and I keep calling up the jail and they keep telling me he is there but that is all. How do I find out what is going on. :confused:

I don't know about albany, but here in nassau county if you have to so a year or less they keep you in the county jail. Maybe that is the reason that they haven't transferred him yet. You could call the jail and ask them if they have the same policy. I hope that this helped you in some way. Paula
