Does anyone know anything new on the Victim notification cases? Where they are, or even if they are doing anything at all? My husband was scheduled to come back up in Nov. of 2003, as of tonight July 2,2004 we have not heard anything. Everyone that I write or call say that they are behind, but really want or can't say exactly where they are. Anyone know anything?

my husband was scheldued to come up in Sept 2002 and came up march 29th 2004. he was paroled but still doesn't have a release date. I'm not sure how far behind they are now though.

Mine was scheduled for February 2003 and just got a date for late August 2004. Some others scheduled for February and also March got their date before he did tho. No apparent rhyme or reason to it all, really.

I will keep you in my prayers and hope that they will let your loved one come home to you. Do you plan on coming to the hearing? It will help if you do.(I think,) then sometime I do not know if anything will help, because I've yet to know what the board wants. But I do know that they want to know what he has did to help himself come home, so make sure that all the classes he has taken since being locked-up is updated and in his file, and take the list with you. They asked me "why did he turn to crime? That seems to be a very important question to them.if you want to know more just let me know. Yes, his family and I are all going as well as a longtime friend who is working with us as a liason to the board. This is our fourth time up (my first time being involved tho) so I think we're pretty well prepared, from past experience tho we know they've usually made up their minds already so we can only hope.
