California Sunshine 07-03-2004, 11:40 PM Have any places you just love or trips that really stand out in your mind?
My trip to Cabo San Lucas was one of the best times EVER :) I also really enjoy going to Lake Tahoe in spring and summer to me it's fun and relaxing at the same time.Love the ocean as well....Bodega Bay,Montery,Capitola etc.
How about you?
irisheyes66 07-03-2004, 11:51 PM Without a doubt...Playa del Carmen, Mexico (an hour south of Cancun, which I hate, LOL). I love the ruins at Coba, and the cenotes of Akumal. There are still lots of untouched areas in Playa, and on Cozumel...you just have to know where to look ;)
Of course, the best hotels there are run by locals...the Alhambra, Las Golondrinas, Don Emilione's (one of the greatest restaurants in all of Playa), Blue Parrot Inn (20 years old this summer!), El Pelicano (my girlfriends loved it there)...there's so many to choose from! I have literally thousands of pictures of the area; it's hard to top the scenic beauty of Mexico.
Playa is the perfect place to do everything...or nothing at all

BillnDenise 07-06-2004, 08:59 PM I spent 3 weeks on Hilton Head Island, SC...it was GREAT!!! I didn't have to spend a dime either...everything was paid for by the person we were staying with.

ILUVEAP 07-16-2004, 11:44 PM I have a few favorite vacation places. In the U.S. I like Las Vegas and Memphis (I'm an Elvis fan so that explains those)! My favorite place outside of the U.S. is London. There's just an awesome feeling about being there because there is just so much history and so many different things to see and do. I also love the whole pomp and ceremony surrounding the palaces and royalty. The department stores are amazing too! They have a grocery store (Fortnum & Mason) where there is plush carpeting, chandeliers, and the wrokers are dressed in tuxedos! There's just something about the country that I love.

Our Hotel Is Right On The Beach And Its So Beautiful....we Just Lay Out And Drink The Entire Week;its So Relaxing After A Year Of Hard Work!! We Literally Count The Days The Day We Leave The Beach Till The Day We'll Be Back...so Funny:) 2 More Weeks Till The Wait Is Over For This Year:) :) Im Actually More Excited This Year Cause My Fiance Is An Hour Away From Ft.myers So I Get To See Him 2 Weekend In A Row,so Excited!!!
LORNA 07-24-2004, 10:19 PM I love Martha's Vineyard, though it has become more commercialized in recent years. It still does the job for me when I seek tranquility.
*Johnny's Angel* 08-05-2004, 06:33 PM I like Puerto Rico, but staying in san Juan or Condado (not exactly in OLD San Juan) It makes me feel like Im at home where I used to live in North Jersey, Everythign was so cheap out there and everyone is so friendly. And then you have the beach, Old San Juan Casino's horse back riding Rainforests, SHOPPING, its so nice there. A lot of the other Island like St Thomas and Barbados I think are basically only good for the beautiful beaches. But other than that for fun I would say Disney World!
