Hello everyone.. This is a parole issue, but I want information on the susanville area. I am frustrated. My "son" ( T!) got out of high desert 10 days ago. His crime was in Susanville and he was in college there, so he knows a lot of people. I really wanted hiim to come here and live with me til he got on his feet. I can give him board and room, in exchange for some work here. however, he owes restitution "jointly and severally" with 4 others and they will not allow him to leave CA. The PO did not even return my calls and then threw it in his face that he couldn't go to stay with his only family. What are the job possibilities there? Gee with two local prisons you would think there would be more services to help the men get jobs? Any information on resources in this area would be greatly appreciated. He is a strong 23 yr old, could do roofing, construction, etc. I feel like he is being set up to fail! Are there churches that give support to people coming out of prison?
