God, I feel stupid!!! I've been a part of this site for over a week & I Still can't find my way around!

OK.

My fiance/life partner is in FDC Philly pretrial.
I am in Texas.
He is 52 & I am 60!!! We are too old for alla this!!

Jamie was picked up on a fed warrant on 4/23 in Texas for "suspicion of synthesyzing
illegal chemicals" in 2001 in NJ, based on the chemicals he legally had in his legally licensed labs. He was an environmental consultant, w/ a PHD in molecular chemistry.
(His father was head of chemistry at Rutgers.)

Jamie was brot up Quaker & has never done anything to harm anyone in his life. He had never been arrested for anything other than a minor pot offense when he was in college, which was dismissed.

He was my strength & my hope, my counselor & my confidant & my comfort. He was always active in helping everyone in the community, & he & I were both active in the Methodist Church here, ever since we met on the internet in 1/02. (his wife of 25 yrs died of cancer several days before his labs "went down" & he was taken in for "hindering a health officer in the performance of his duty.")

PTO has become my lifeline in the past 12 days. I look forward to getting to know everyone involved in the federal system.....if anyone has anyone in FDC Philly, plz feel free to PM me------------or for any other reason!

Welcome to our family here on PTO! We are glad you have joined us!

He was my strength & my hope, my counselor & my confidant & my comfort.

He still can be!!! And you will still be to him! It's important to continue to keep these things up, no matter the age! Together, we keep each other moving forward towards the light at the end of the tunnel! We all will make it there...one day!

We are glad that you joined us here and hope you continue to feel the support and comfort!

Diane:) thanks, diane, i know that's true..........it's just harder to get thru the dark in the middle of the night when you can't see your partner or reach out to find his hand. i stumble around a lot w/out him beside me.....& when i need an answer to some complicated life-question that he , brillant man that he is, could always answer for me, & i know that it's gonna be at least a week before i can get that answer. (we don't have money for calls, & i can't visit him all the way up north.....)
but i'm hopin & prayin for the day that, if he wins his case, he'll be home----& if he doesn't, that at least he can probly get transferred back to bastrop, which is only 40 min from me.
i'm so thankful that you all are there. PTO is the hand in the dark that i CAN reach!
