Hey gang....just thought that some of you might like to know that while i was visting this past weekend at Bibb. They are now allowing us to pay $3.00 a picture...they haven't ever had it before but one of the CO's said they started it Saturday...
for those that visit bibb, you don't pay for them with the debit card, you pay cash before you enter and they give you a stub to use inside....

I was there this weekend too and was just sick that I didn't know what they were doing at that receipt table when you entered the check in room. I saw a sign saying something about picture ID and I thought it was checking IDs there and I just flashed my ID and walked on by. When I got inside and realized that I could have had my picture of my son and daughter who went with me I was just sick. I am definitely doing it next time. That is such a nice thing for them to do I can hardly believe they are allowing it!!

Thanks for the imformation on Bibb Correctional, I'am going down on Saterday the 10th for a visit, and I will know to take in enough money to take pictures, that way, I will not have to fall out of line, return to the car, get money and get back in line. Its about time that they do something down there except give us a hard time. My brother is at Elmore in Alabama. They have the pictures there also....but the inmate has to pay for the photos in store during the week...then on the sunday visiting day they will have someone taking the photos. (generally an inmate) No one offeerd me this info...I saw pics being taken and started inquiring about how that works.
I am going to send 5 extra bucks in my next letter....so my brother can take care of having a picture made.
