Hi, I am Jen. I live in North Phoenix and want to go this Saturday to Apache Unit in St.John's to go see my boyfriend, I will be driving with a friend, but have no clue how to get there, and do not want to get lost. I have been there once before, but I was not driving, and I really need driving directions. Please, If you or anyone else knows how to get there, please drop me a line. I want to go this Saturday.

: Kaibab: Visitation is on Saturday, Sunday, and all legal holidays. Inmates in Cellblocks #1 and #3 may have visits from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; inmates in Cellblocks #2 and #4 may have visits from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Apache: Visitation schedule is Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Visits for detention status inmates are held as non-contact. The non-contact visitation hours are for a 2-hour period between 9:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday.
Non-contact visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the visit by contacting the visitation office.

Directions
From Phoenix:
Enter the Institution from South Highway 87. The prison will be on the West side of the highway. This will take you directly to the Winslow Complex.

From Flagstaff:
Take I-40 east to Winslow. Winslow is approximately 60 minutes from Flagstaff. From I-40, take the first Winslow exit 252, Hipkoe Road (by Burger King) and turn right. This will take you to a four-way stop. Turn left (east) on Second street to Williamson at the stop lights. Turn right and head south on Highway 87. Approximately three miles on the right (west side) is the prison.

The Apache Unit is located on Highway 180 between Springerville and St. Johns, approximately 17 miles from Springerville and 15 miles from St. Johns.

Thank You Patty for your help. However, I am not able to go see my love (Pat) :cry: because my friend who was going to go with me, well, ...her guy got transferred to another facility, and she was my ride up there. My car is older and probably would not be safe to drive that far from my home. I was supposed to go tomorrow, and am rather bummed out today, I have not been able to find anyone who is going up there. It seems that most inmates are in other locations. If anyone knows of anyone who will be traveling up to St.John's (where Apache Unit is located)Az, can you please notify me? I really would love to be able to see him.
