Hi everyone! I am hoping you can help me with something as I am not sure where else to go.

My friend is going to be paroled shortly (around Feb, not sure the exact time yet) and he is looking for a list of local halfway houses in the Boston area that accept parolees. Does anyone know where I can find a list that I can give to him? I'm not coming up with much when I search and it's becoming frustrating.

Thank you for your time!

Welcome to Prison Talk. I can't find a list, but the Mass Parole Board administers the parole program, and may be able to tell you the answer.

An internet search for ""MA community corrections half way house" shows links to a number of different HWHs that are under the jurisdiction of county sheriffs. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Are you looking for a state HWH or Federal? Here is a link http://www.halfwayhouses.us/state/massachusetts. I'm not sure what kind of facilities they are.

I really appreciate your help! Thank you!

It's not federal. I know that much at least. :) He's in Shirley Medium.
