Hey all the Bama girls and guy :) Selena (waiting again) is on her way to see Kevin, she was leaving tonight to get a room to stay in so she can look and feel refreshed for her visit in the morning with Kevin.
I wanted to ask all of you to keep her in your prayers for her safe trip. And for to enjoy the visit (which I am sure she will) It has been a long time she and Kevin have waited to see eachother again and I am so happy and exicted for her :D
Thanks everyone for sending prayers for her. I know she will be on here when she gets back tomorrow to let all of us know how the visit went.

Thank ya'll for the prayers....I really appreciate it. I got back around 4:30pm yesterday...and as Brandi said, we DID get a room about 10 min. away from Red Eagle (we were scared to death...somebody tried to get in our room and well, we put the table in front of the door!! LOL :eek:). Well, we didn't sleep at all Saturday night...so, I thought I would fall asleep mid-visit...but, I didn't. Well, visits start at 8am so, we left the room around 7:15...went to Waffle House and drank coffee (to keep us awake I guess)...and then stopped at a gas station to get quarters (I could take up to $30 in quarters). I asked if they could give me $20 in quarters (2 rolls) and she told me "I know where your going..." and just started smiling. :rolleyes: Anyway...they didn't have any to spare...and she told me to go to this car wash cause you can put $5 bills in there and it will give you quarters...so, she gave me 4 5's for my 20....and off to the car wash I went. Well, the machine was tore up so...no quarters there. SO...I went BACK to the room...and asked the "manager" if he had any quarters rolled....he showed me this HUGE bucket of quarters...so, we had to stand there and count out $20 worth! :rolleyes: Anyway...I was late for the visit...I got there at like 8:15am. We walked in (they didn't search us or anything...just took my keys)...and they asked who we were there to see. We signed the check-in paper and they called them to the visit room. We waited like 30 min. or 45 min. for them to get out there. When Kevin FINALLY got in there...I asked him why it took him so long. He laughed and said "I was asleep cause I got my list back and it said you were denied. When they kept calling my name...I looked out my window and seen your car...so, I had to take a shower, iron my clothes, and brush my hair." :D Well, ya'll...it felt soooo good to finally see him...and they were soo laid back down there. (oh yea...and ALL the things they said I COULDN'T wear...that is what everybody was wearing...skirts, shorts, capris, flip flops, sneakers, white shirts...tank tops..everything). We hugged up to each other the whole visit...and he was sayin' that it's amazing how just holding hands can make you feel in that situation. :o Well, visit ends at 12:00 and at about 11:50 the guard came outside (you could sit inside or outside) and told us to rap it up cause visit was ending. Well, we hugged and gave each other a kiss and he said "I don't want you to go"...that is when I broke down...and so did he. I was fine through the visit....but, leaving him is what killed me. We walked inside to sign out...and well, we waited until everybody got done...so we could spend more time together :D. They got to walk us back out cause visitor parking is right beside their dorms....so, we said our goodbyes again. I got to my car and I heard someone yell out "BOOKIE"...I turned around and saw him and he said "I miss you already"...I yelled back "I love you, Kevin"...and I got in my car...looked at my friend and told her "I already miss him Connie"...well, I started cryin' again...and cried about the whole way home. I never thought I'd miss him this much...after just seeing him. I told him that it may be awhile until we see each other again but...we decided to try my best to come either this weekend...or next :D. We had pics took and I'm planning to put one on here as my siggy sometime (so, ya'll can see what I ended up wearing! Warning..I looked like crap...my hair was frizzy, i was sunburnt...from being outside all day that day....and Kevin just looks mean and sad :rolleyes:). Ragland!! I wore my leather sandals....just thought I'd tell you since you was wondering!! LOL

Glad to hear your travel was safe, visit went well and you are home ok :)

glad you had a great visit and im sorry i didn't get back to you in time about where not to stay. how long did it take to drive?yes it is very hard leaving them. i'm glad i only live 45mins. away.on your next trip be sure and stop at exit 205 at clanton and treat yourself at the peach park. you'll love it.

Selena, my girl I'm VERY HAPPY you got to see Kevin! :D I know you hadnt seen him in a while and you deserve it! YAY!!!!! I was almost at tears when you said you cried almost all the way home. aww.. i know you miss him so much! i miss mine too girl. but anyway, i'm excited for you sel! have a wonderful day!

you silly girl you! it was me trying to get in your room, i was in the mood for a slumber party...why did yall do me like that? i mean i drove ALLLLLLLLL the way down there to be greated with a table against the door..whats up with that? i brought quarters and my 80s shoes, was gonna go see him with ya!! i see how it is, and next time, ill just be IN your room when you check in....lol

LMAO, Ragland...I KNEW that was you!!!!! LOL. I'm tellin' you...Kevin laughed his head off at us...cause we were sooo paranoid!!! I've never been that 'noid in my life...Kevin said it was him...that he had ran away and found me (I could only wish). Just let me know next time...and we won't be mean to you, girl!!! LOL

Selena, I'm so happy that you got to finally visit Kevin. It is so hard to leave when visit's are over.(I told Lewis Sunday that I was so tired of saying by and having to walk away from him.)
I'm glad you made it home safe and hopefully your next motel stay will be safer.(poor Ragland, she just wanted to see what shoes you had on.lol)

yeah you would THINK we were good enough friends by now that i could of atleast got in out of the rain....but noooooooooooooo....next time ill have something REALLY special planned and it will make the movie JEEPERS CREEPERS look like a fairy tale!!

Sue...thanks...it was great just to see him and hold his hand...I never thought holding his hand would make me feel sooo good..ya know? gir you know i am too happy for you. yeah i know what ya mean about missing him, seems like your ok (well as can b expected) but when you lleave the visit its awful. glad ya had a good visit and good feel to last ya till next time.

Darn it Selena you had me crying reading your thread.I use to cry every time it was time for Lee to go back in from a pass.I do a little better now but it want be completely better til he's home.

Selena, I've been away a little bit but glad to come back and read that you finally had your visit, yay! Glad you had such a good one. :)

Yeah, the work releases, farms and the ranch are a little more lax about clothing so I hear... lucky girl! At least you'll know next time :)
