Does have any info on the child care provided over at CMC in San Luis Obispo?? I've a little but I want to know if any of you have any details. :confused:

They do actually have childcare provided through Friends Outside; at CMC. I would call them, to find out all the details

Michelle is correct! They have a Friends outside and they pick the children up during visiting!

The other ladies are correct, Friends Outside will provide childcare while you are visiting at CMC. However, the child must be potty trained and you need to have the child registered with them prior to them providing you with childcare. You basically have to fill out a piece of paper that has all the childs information as well as yours and the inmates name and cdc#. While the child is there they provide them with a lunch and snacks throughout the day. There are tons of toys and things to keep them occupied. If for some reason while the child is at Friends Outside they don't want to be there anymore, they will bring the child back to you in the visiting room (however I think they will not allow the child to go back to Friends Outside in the future).
