My husband just mailed me a visiting form from San Quentin Reception center. When I filled it out and signed it, it had a place where he should have signed the form saying he mailed the form to me. It did not have his signature on it, so should I sign his name or mail it back to him? Should I just mail it back to visiting without his signature? I want to hurry and start the process so I could go visit.
You Can Try Sending It Without His Signature, But They Might Not Accept It So It Would Be Better If He Signed It, Just Tell Him To Send Another Signed, Mine Did The Same Thing, He Sent The Form Not Signed But He Sent Another Signed And I Was Approved In A Week.

My form was unsigned and it was still approved in about three weeks. So send it in and tell him to send you another signed one just in case.

Suez just send in the form without his signature. The prison will contact him for his
John Hancock. San Quentin is funny about these types of things. Better to be safe
than sorry... signing your husband's name without his approval or permission, is considered fraudulent. I would advise to send it in only with your signature. Suzi

from experience i know that it has to be signed by him only for it to be considered valid. if its sent to them w/o the siggy it will not be processed. to them thats his way of proving to them that he wants you on his list to visit. so if you havent been approved as of yet id ask him to send another one withhis siggy on it and when you send it back send it back delivery confirmation, priority mail. they'll get it so much faster and hopefully it will help speed up the process. i hope this info helps and i hope you get approved soon.

Respectfully I disagree with jasonsmyhoney - mine was approved without his signature - it just depends on the day and the processing clerk. If you send in the one without now and ask him for another and send that one as well, one of them will get approved. Good luck!

if i am wrong, which i could very well be, i apalogize for the mis-information, but still based off of exprience i do know that if they did approve you w/o the siggy you are probably just lucky cuz most that i know who did it w/o the siggy got denied on the spot so if they do do it w/o the siggy i am glad to learn this and maybe it will make the process easier for me next time.
