Skip called me this morning....we have exactly 12 days (just in county so far, awaiting TDCJ unit assignment), and HE GOT A JOB!!!!!!

Skip is a certified welder, and apparently, they found work for him....GET THIS..he gets to leave the facility each day for work!!! I was thrilled with this news, and he sounds absolutely wonderful!! I go to see him tomorrow, and he indicated the visitation is much better at this new place etc. (think maybe we'll get 20 minutes instead of 15??? LOL)

that's wonderful! when my husband was assigned on a work squad it changed his whole personality. it snapped him out of his depression to get to leave every day and to feel somewhat "trusted." congratulations on the great news!
