I have been sentenced to 27 months at the Duluth Prison Camp. It is very low security, so I understand. I self surrender on November 29th at 2pm.
What can I expect? I have read about other camps, but I am hoping that someone will have some specific info for Duluth.
Here is what I know. It is a converted Air Force base. There is a 300 seat theatre, bowling alley, tennis/raquetball court and so on. I am sure they are not the nicest and I am positively sure it is not going to be the mythical "Club Fed" that I constantly hear about.
I know I can survive it, but this unknown is killing me. I have bought the book on prisons by David Novak that I have seen mentioned in other messages so I know the basic rules.
I will have to really remember the no whining one. :D
I do have medication for asthma that I absolutely need so I will bring it with me when I self surrender.
I know this questions as probably been answered many times before. I am sorry for that. I am just on edge with worry, no strike that, I am scared sh*tless!
Thanks for any help.
