Hi,

My friend of the last 15 years (I am 24) is in Beaumont Low. This site is great! I have learned so much from reading the threads. I received three letters from him...then none since late April. I have kept writing, but no response. I called the prison to find out if I was on his visitors' list, but they said they cannot give me that information over the phone. I am not sure how to find out since I live in Virginia and cannot just show up to check if they let me in. I did send back the form in March. I am very worried about him. Does anyone here communicate with anyone in Beaumont Low?

They should be able to tell you if you can visit! Try calling again, if that doesn't work ask to speak to his counselor or case manager. They might give you the same line...but it's worth the try!
