Well folks I'll be out of the country for about 5 1/2 weeks, from July 22nd to Aug 31st 2004.

I'll fly out of San Franisco to Manila to Cebu City, then a fast boat to the Negros Oriental Island and Dumaguete City, Philippines.

Why the Philippines? Two reasons and I'll start with the 2nd :D Dumaguete (doom-a-get-tee) is a City I have wanted to check out for retirement and get out of this country. I've spent about 6 months researching other countries and this seems my best bet since I've been there 3 times on vacation before and know some of the ropes there and for the best part, they speak English.

Also, the exchange rate is 55.4± peso's to one dollar which mean going from not having a whole lot, to a kingdom.

An online romance is cool where a lot can be exchanged, where logic and reasoning, wants and desires seems to run on the same path. But the true test is meeting eye ball to eye ball and spend time togather. She know, that nothing is set in stone until we meet. But we talk like it is. :)

Change of plans, well change where I land anyway. I found a flight direct to Dumaguete therefore I do not have to go to Cebu and then the fast boat. YEPPIE!!

21 more days and I'm outta here! I've got a bag and a half packed already :D
