Hello this has been forwarded to me and I personally am writing my letter tonight, please read and if you find can help we would appreciate it.

Okay, let's have some *political* fun. I say "fun" because, I see our
government officials HAVING FUN playing games with our lives. Well, we in
Alabama just influenced two lives: Don Siegleman's and Bob Riley's, by
playing the game of "get the word out".
Neither is worthy of the office of Governor. Siegleman is a KNOWN public
liar so we did not want him to be re-elected. Bob Riley is somewhat of an
unknown. We know he supports the death penalty. We know we do not, but
then so did Siegleman support DP. Siegleman supported Bill Pryor and his
truth in sentencing rhetoric. He about HB 61

No thought was given at all to the prisoners and their families. Bob Riley
knows that he is in office because he got the votes of those who typically
never bothered to vote, much less vote Republican.
Bob Riley's campaign platform was to get rid of corruption in government.
We participated in a 30-day prison phone boycott because of the corruption
within the prison system, and because we have some answers to the problems
that exist within the Department of Corrections in Alabama. Bob Riley
should hear what this particular group of citizens have to say. A letter
campaign is Roberta Franklin's idea and I think it's a terrific idea.

Robert Franklin's message below says it all. I just wanted to throw my two
cents into the arena, because her idea is a PERFECT lead-in for our idea on
the team concept of prisoner [inside] and collaborator [outside] introducing
information on Restorative Justice and Prison Reform to their Members of
Congress :-).
I think Roberta has a wonderful idea, and I will get busy on my letter as
soon as I send this invitation out to everyone across the nation and around
the world. Can we get letters coming in from all over the place so that
Riley knows that other states and other countries are watching to see what
Planet Alabama does with its citizens next?

address at the capitol would serve to reach our new governor, Bob Riley.
Perhaps you can call them and ask if mail to the newly elected Governor Bob
Riley would reach him if sent to the capitol:
