:p My Honey has proposed a few times. Before he went in and since. So I asked " Where is my ring?" A little time went by and what do I find in the mail yesterday??? A hand made ring just for me. :) No, it didn't cost much. And no it isn't silver or gold. It is a black leather band with a tiny red heart carefully sewn on it. It doesn't shimmer and gleam. But it shines more brightly than any ring he could have ever bought for me. It was given with all his love. So now it is offical... We are Engaged :yay: We can't really set a date yet... But he won't be gone away to long. Every day is just one day closer!

Congrats on being offically engaged!! My man had a ring made for me while he was in county......it's made out of pants string, so it's orange with his name sewn into it with blue thread! I wear it on a necklace around my neck always. Y'all are right, it means a whole lot to me and I'll cherish it for life! Ain't they sweet? : )
