What do they do during a home inspection after an inmate is paroled? My fiance was paroled yesterday and he said they are going to call me to set up an appointment. What should I expect?

This has been 1 year ago for us, so I'm might not be accurate. It might even depend on what county you're in. They have an office of the parole division come out to the house. The tell you what the rules of the parole are for the person. They will go through your house room by room. If you won't let them go through the house, your home will be denied for the place the inmate can live. The don't search the house. They don't go through the closets or under the beds or in the cubboards. They ask you if there are any firearms in the house. I had to sign a paper stating that I knew the rules, I had no alcohol, or firearms. They are looking to see if this is a stable, supportive environment for the guy to come home to. prisonbud 07-04-2004, 08:32 AM Hi Does that no alchol in the house go for all paroles and what are some of the other rules and things they look for.
