He called me this morning!!!! After a long hard week and not hearing from him, he said he couldn't go one more minute without hearing my voice!!! He missed comissary by 4 hours, and will have to wait till first part of next week to get writing supplies.

He sounds wonderful...I told him I had been hearing good things about crowding etc. He said he's hearing the same from inside. Our shorter sentence may allow for a pretty quick turn-around, once he is assigned a unit. We still have no clue where he might end up.

I know I keep the faith and his hope alive. I was so thrilled to hear him, and he sounded in very good spirits.

::tears:: I want him home so much. I can't believe what a little 15 minute phone call did for me. I panicked when I heard the recording that we only had 1 minute left, but he said he would call back soon.

Kat.. That phone call makes up for a weeks worth of letters. Timing could not have been any better. It is not what all that is said. It is the knowing that he is truly doing okay. I am so tickled for you and your honey. I think they would have to call 9-1-1 for me when my first call comes in. :D
