Hello my friends....here at PTO.

I was just wondering if some of you can help me out. There is a festival at CCFA in july and I was wondering what to expect?. I have never been to one and I want to know if the CO's are laid back, what is the atmosphere?.

I have heard so much about it and I just want some input on those who have been. Is it true that it can be a f***k fest?. I wont be doing any of that.. too much respect for other people who will be there especially the kids and older adults.

So help me to understand what is it like?

Thank you
Maggie

I've never been to a festival at Clinton but at another facility ... basically it's like a big picnic, usually outside. The person you are visiting has to pay for the tickets to the festival thru commissary ahead of time. There is usually a cut off date, I think? Where I went the COs were laid back and you could mingle and take pics w/other visitors (which is definitely not allowed on a regular visit). Search process to get into festival was a little more stringent than usual. They had music and picnic type food at the one I went to. My guy liked the food but I gave him my plate, cos I didn't really care for it but I guess it was more like "real" food to him??? Plus I knew when I left I could get something on the way home. :) Alot of ppl do use festivals as an opportunity to get their groove thing on; I barely can kiss him in the visiting room so I know I'm not doing anything that intimate in front of a whole boatload of ppl ... I just liked the festival b/c it was a nice change from being in the dreary visiting room ...
