Dearest All,

Good Day, all. How did the Historic Brown vs. Board of Education events go,
if you got to them? Thanx for posting, etc.! I hope you and yours are
well and will continue to be. Excellent articles, cool. Here's a sample
advocacy letter, for all you do and don't :)

Dear Senator Roberts + Brownback,

Congress has wisely refused to go along with the overall new PATRIOT II
proposal, recognizing that it is unnecessary, has numerous loopholes and
weaknesses, and can be used to deprive Americans of their civil rights
unnecessarily.

But the Administration continues to push individual bills, in hope of
passing pieces of the proposal, which are objectionable and unnecessary.

HR 2934 and its companion, S 1604, would create 23 new death penalties in
one stroke, and also create an unprecedented catch-all death penalty for any
crime that meets the PATRIOT Act's overbroad definition of terrorism.

The PATRIOT Act needs to be cleaned up, not expanded. I urge you, Senator
Roberts, to vigorously oppose this unnecessary and unwise expansion of the
federal death penalty.

Sincerely,

(your name, address, + daytime phone #)

Remember: "We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a
single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, effects all indirectly." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. ~ Mahatma Gandhi, "we must be the
changes we wish to see in the world." "Prison is designed to break
everyone's spirit and destroy one's resolve. To do this, the authorities attempt to exploit every weakness, demolish every initiative, negate all signs of individuality, all with the idea of stamping out that spark that makes each
of us human and each of us who we are." ~ Nelson Mandela "We" can
challenge ourselves and society by challenging defacto slavery established
by the injustice system in the U.S. and everywhere it is? Isn't an important
part of that challenging, working towards abolishing their tool of terror
which determines most follow their leaders out of fear, if little else? For,
we all know the innocent are premeditatedly murdered by the state to that
purpose, the death penalty being a tool of the war on freedom. "We, the
people" can't allow ourselves to be complicit in the war crimes of the
republican conspiracy. We are responsible, for they've gotten their with
our lack of struggle to prevent them. Please advocate for fully disclosed
investigations of the S.A.P. 'gestapo' program run out of the Pentagon, that
oversaw the ordering of atrocities against innocent civilian Iraqi detainees
who just happened to be swept up by the U.S. military; now. All, what do
you think? Lest "we" forget, if you don't exercise responsibility, its
Siamese sister, freedom, will wither, as well. Sadly, now, it first needs to
be exorcized before its exercised. Viva la evolution! Music is life's song
accompanying the abundance of joy's Spring. "Painting is poetry which is
seen and not heard, and poetry is a painting which is heard but not seen."

hearing from you. Ciao, for now.

When you have this just the way you want it to read and be available for signing please notify me. I will sign it for you. I am against the death penalty also.
Besides I knew Sam when he was in high school--my ex husband was his teacher!
Keep up the very good work you are doing and may God bless you, Pat (also from KS)

Dear God'sServant,

Morning. Thanx for replying! I hope you and yours are well and will
continue to be. Cool. Good points. Excellent. You seem to be misunderstanding, this isn't a petition for anyone to sign on to; it is a sample advocacy letter, which anyone can use to make their own letter to the Senators that they will then have to send for themselves to the Senators. Thanx for all you do! Lest "we" forget, if you don't exercise
responsibility, its Siamese sister, freedom, will wither, as well.
Sadly, now, it first needs to be exorcized before its exercised.
