I was looking for some help in writing letters of support to the P & P Board and I ran across this link...it is VERY good information. It is actually from Texas but I am sure it is not much different from anywhere else. It sure helped me a whole bunch! Check it out if you are writing a letter.

Thanks for sharing!
I'm sure you have seen all the threads about writing the parole board in here... this should be quite resourceful!

the address can be found in the sticky in the forum titled "Georgia Contacts and Information".

I have written several letters throughout my fiance's incarceration, as well as our other family members, his boss and our neighbors.

Y'all think I should start writing letters since he's had his first parole hearing? On the P&P board 24hr "hotline" it says his case is curently under investigation.......so i should start writing yes? Aslo,my handwriting is really horrible......so does it really matter if it's hand writen or typed? I want it all to be as perfect as possible! thanks y'all and God bless you and yours!

I just saw your post today! Sorry!!!
I would start writing now. The Sothern Center of Human Rights says the best time to send letters is during the investigation phase which is usually the 3 months before a TPM is determined. I typed all of mine and send copies via regular mail and email.I would type the letters, but I'm sure it doesn't matter.
