I'm waiting to be sentenced on May 27th, and wanted to know how differcult is supervised release. Can you maintain some what of a normal life or does the PO have his or her thumb on you constantly.

I have been on supervised release since the beginning of October. It has not been difficult at all for me. Maybe I just have a good probation officer. The first few months you may have a few more restrictions as your PO will be getting to know you.

Since the end of April I have not had to take anymore drug tests. I just send in my monthly report. I do not have to see her unless she requests it.

I think it depends on your PO and your district and how they operate. As I said, maybe I am just lucky, but it has not interfered with my life at all really.
