I've never heard of a Nicholls Correctional Institute in GA. Sorry I can't help. But you can find a database of prisoners at www.dcor.state.ga.us and then click on inmate query.

as Mrskenrdrick2u said, there is not a Nicholls CI in GA.
But if you are looking for a specific inmate, I would do to the link she provide and do an inmate query.

you are so smart girl!!! LOL I never thought of looking by the city name!!! I hope this is it for her... but I haven't seen her back :(

Patience it was just killing me to wonder why someone would have a full institution name and it not be one. I hope that is what she wants. I haven't seen her on either. Maybe she has the email notification of when someone replies.

I thought I would go ahead and post some info. regarding the Coffee Correctional Facility. There is not much on the GDC site because unlike most State Prisons, this is a private prison contracted by the state. Here's some info.

PRIVATE PRISONS

The Georgia Department of Corrections has contracted with Cornell Corrections and Corrections Corporation of America to operate three private prisons located throughout the state. D. Ray James Prison located in Folkston, Georgia is operated by Cornell Corrections. Coffee Correctional Institute located in Nicholls, Georgia and Wheeler Correctional Institute located in Alamo, Georgia are operated by Corrections Corporation of America.




The Department has assigned a team of specialists to monitor the daily operation of each of the three private facilities and ensure that the terms of the contracts are being met. Employees at the facilities include security personnel (certified by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council), counselors, program specialists and support staff. Programming for inmate vocational, educational and substance abuse treatment closely follow the standards found in state-operated facilities.

My fiance' use to be in COFFEE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY in Nicholls Ga and the address is 1153 North Liberty street Nicholls Ga 31554 I hope this helps if not let me know and i will see what else I can find. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Here's all the info. we have... I moved your post from the Calhoun SP thread to here... it is a private prison so there is not much info. available. You might want to check out the link in this thread regarding the company that owns/runs the facility. Hope this helps. :)

Dont forget: you have to write the sender's full name and address, the inmates full name and GDC number, make sure you write Coffee county correctional facility (there are two jails in coffee county, one is a private prison...address above, and the other is a county jail.

The secretary at Coffee County Correctional gave me the information above.
