Does anyone here have any suggestions on writing letters to the parole board concerning inmates and how much they have changed? Also...who is a good contact person on the parole board?

Also...who is a good contact person on the parole board? ragland 05-15-2004, 04:00 PM i dont think it matters if you contact any one in particular, i just wrote to them from an intelligent stand point and very minimal emotions involved. it worked, hes getting out a week from monday E1950 05-15-2004, 08:01 PM I wouldn't give them any information on the case other than his charges that he is serving time for. also I wouldn't say anything disrespectful about the victim (if their is one) I would make sure to include any programs he has completed or is in presently. include any changes for the better that you have witnessed. it really doesn't matter who you send it to because it goes into his folder reguardless. good luck and best wishes. sue MISS N U 05-17-2004, 10:47 PM i also dont think it matters they all work together, i have sent emails to them and they always well usually forward it to someone else for answering. and yes it sits in a folder, but by all means write someone just to keep the name fresh is my motto. hope it works but as of now i am still writing with no date set yet. everyday i pray and then pray harder the answer will be yes parole granted. you pray for us as i pray for everyone here daily and when we keep a chain and circle formed as the prayers go up the blessings will come down E1950 05-17-2004, 10:53 PM Amen Miss N U, prayer works and I pray for everyone on pto as well. I know that god know's our needs. what is bound on earth is bound in heaven, and nightly i bind the forces that come against all of us, inmates and families. |
