A friend got his parole revoked because his live in girlfriend had 14 bullets locked in a safe, his fingerprints were found nowhere on or near the safe or the bullets, but the FBI raided they said they were his. Now he's doing 20 years ferderal. He just told me that guys are coming back from some group saying that if family or friends that live with a parolee owns a gun, it is okay as long as certain things are done ( the way its locked up, etc. ) I need to know where I can go on the web or otherwise, that I can get something in writing of these rules, & when they were put into affect. His case is being heard on the 20th by the Supreme Court, & we need to get this fricken case overturned or something so he can get his life back. Is there anyone out there that can help?????????? :banghead:
P.S. I can be E-mailed at (e-mail address removed per PTO policy - member may be contacted via Private Messaging on PTO)

My brother is on federal good-time release and it was made very clear to him when he signed his papers that the presence of firearms or ammunition in his residence or vehicle would constitute possession. It doesn't matter who 'owns' them since 'possession' means 'presence', not actual ownership.

He says he'll be very surprised if it makes any difference if they're locked or secured. Let us know if you find out otherwise.
