My husband/boyfriend and I was arrested last week. I was released on a PFI but they kept Odie and I was told he could be looking at 30 to 40 yrs. I just don't know what to do. I have know why of getting ahold of him the holding facility he's in can't or won't give me any information. And on top of all that, he was supposed to go to court to see if he could get a bond/family signiture, and when I get there I find out he's in the hospital. They won't tell me why or how he is. I'm just so scared. But I'm trying to keep my head up it just gets hard sometimes. Sorry about my whining I just have no one to talk to about what's going on

Try getting through to the prison chaplain. They can sometimes get information for you that you yourself can't get. Good luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers......let us know if you are able to get any information.....

This is extremely hard for you! But just hang in there!

Melanalynn gave some good advice, the chaplin is someone that you could try to contact.

He is/was in a holding facility, is this a federal location or state?

Have you been intouch with an attorney yet? If so you may "try" seeing if they could find out anything about him.

Hopefully some others will come along with suggestions, and other ideas. Better yet, hopefully he will get a phone call!

Hopeing for the best!

Thank you, but he's not in prisin yet. He's still in jail, it's called Community Correction of America. It's not a county jail though. But I'll still see if there's a jail chaplin.

Ok I'm confused?? Is he your Husband? Or your boyfriend? I'm asking because you have rights as a wife. Or at least you should. Especially when it comes to his medical state. Now if he's just your boyfriend the only rights to any info you may have is Public info. You said you both were arrested. Did you also get charged in the same type of crime he was? They can by law keep you 2 seperated during investigation and conviction. I truly hope you find the answers your looking for. Have you tried to ask a family member to get info like his mom or dad or siblings?

Good luck and try to remain strong.

Stacy

If he has an attorney, you could ask the attorney to take a Release of Information consent form to him to sign, which allows the attorney and/or the hospital to give you information regarding his medical condition. If he doesn't have an attorney, you could perhaps contact the nearest federal defender's office and see if an attorney there would go see him. Zelda

I contacted my husbands cardiologist! he has a little pull since he travels to greenville or marion il. ididn't have to hard of a time since arresting officers left his heart meds behind and it turns ot they gave hime someone elses meds the first night in holding. The Holding facility had to call me since they lost all of his clothes and was being released on bond.
the first few phone calls were run arounds! i guess i lucked out.
hope it all goes well!
