Programs Offered:
Powder River serves as a transition/re-entry Facility for selected minimum-security inmates preparing for transition from prison to community. Powder River operates a 178-bed alternative incarceration addictions treatment program for eligible inmates. Inmates at the Facility are assigned to institution and/or community-based work programs.

Mission Statement:
Powder River Correctional Facility's mission is to protect the public by habilitating offenders through quality management and programs, partnerships with communities, positive human relations and a continuum of correctional services.

Please note: I have not verified the Hotels listed yet, just copied them out of the previous thread. I will do my best to research these before this is finalized.

Motels have now been researched.

The best place to stay in Baker City is the Oregon Trail Motel. They have a website if you are interested. It is http://www.easy-finder.com/brochures/oregontrail/index.htm. They offer a discount to those visiting if you let them know. The rooms are clean, the people friendly, free breakfast at the restaurant, and low cost.

From what I have heard the Budget Inn is not great.

The Bridge Street Inn also has an ok reputation.
