:D Hi i am Angie and i am Very New here !!!! i am in Orange County California ... But I was born in the Antelope Valley in Av Hosptial ... I love it out there .... :cool:

My man has been down for almost a year this time too well in July it will be a year .... and thats after being out for only 4 days .... Long story ..

Both of us actually got arrested together back in August of 02' i went to rehab he went to prison ... he got out in January 03' then was out for 2 weeks got locked up for a week to dry out ... then was out for another 2 weeks or so .... and went back in late March .... got picked up again ... and got out in July ..... wantd me to come see him ... But he sounded very unstable .... so i didnt go ... i was trying to stay sober not get caught up in all the drama we still had a lot of issues .... he ended up getting drunk and high .:angry: ... and driving a friends car ... and in a Black out got in a car accident .... he came too and paniced realizing he was on Parole and was in alot of trouble .... some passer bys stopped to see if he was okay ... he told them yeah .. go check on the people i hit .. and when they went to check on them he jumped in their car and drove off .... it quickly escalated to a high speed pursuit .... where it reulted in him Hit a Police car head on ... they ended up shooting him with sand bags... and once for real in the leg .......

he spent several several months in county where i was visiting him every weekend he has now been upstate for 101 days today .....

Hey Kreepsgirl I too am in Palmdale! I visit my man in corcoran Level 1.
I get my first Family Visit on June 1 and Im excited as hell. LOL if anyone knows anything about them please let me know. Im nervous as a sinner in church. see ya there.

I am new here. My husband before we got married. Yup, "Before"...was in corcoran prison. He was in there when they had that huge riot. He caught a new case because after years of being off heroin he started it again...and well you know what happens after that. He just got put in a CRC prison in Riverside. I mean just today. I decided to try and do what families with loved ones in prison do so I found this place on the web.

Welcome to the boards Misstea.
I sure understand where you are coming from.
My man had done time "before" we got together.
He was clean for 8 years and decided to try speed this time because he was "older" and could "handle it better". Ha...look where he is...he's in Corcoran.
Since then he's been clean as far as I can tell.
I've had my family visit and when I was there I was with the man I married not the man that went in. So keep your fingers crossed it does happen. and I will surely let ya'll know when my man comes home if he stayz clean like he sayz he's going to.
