My fiancee, who was recently sentenced to 4 years, asked me to marry him on Christmas Eve 2002! Of course I said, YES! .:yes: ..it was a total surprise :eek: , a question I thought he would never ask, as we never talked about marriage before then. He is my soulmate and everything I have ever wanted in a man....despite his recent set back. He wants to get married while he is incarcerated....at the moment he is on Delano, CA for reception and in the next few weeks will be sent out to ????? Reading in the forum "prison weddings", and seeing how long the process can take and the frustration of it all, and no matter the fact that "I LOVE HIM & MISS HIM SOOO MUCH:cry: " (haven't seen him since they took him to Delano from Salinas in February), I want, as he did and does too, to have a "real" wedding. Neither one of us (we were both married before) ever had a "real" wedding, so I think it might be best (cause I ain't going no where & will ALWAYS be here waiting for him) because it would even be more special to us both. I will keep you all posted if we can't wait that long however......thanx for reading & understanding! :wave:
