"Know what? I would like to hear about the "special" things your loved one/friend does for you ..... does he make silly stuff to send-is it all straight out? Does he decorate his envelopes? How about poems? We all know we go the extra mile to try to make their day- what has made yours? Is there one thing that will stick with you for life?"

I liked this question posted earlier in another thread, so i thought i would throw it up here and see what we get!

Hope to hear from ya'll soon! I will sahre again as well.

The fact that he really remembers how and where we met. When he sends me cards, he'll mention something that has happened between us. It lets me know that he pays as much attention to our relationship as I do. The jokes and smiley faces that he puts in his letters are a side of him I had never seen this way before.

ONe of his tatoos are a tweety bird on his chest that he got when i was with him.. i picked it out.. :)) i was (15).:))) and we will sometimes make refrence to that.. or just his stick figures he makes.. winking his eye.. it's a simple gesture.. however it works me ..:)
I believe these little things help due to the fact.. contact is far and in between sometimes.. letters are our communication

Well I muast admit that i am very spoiled and blessed when it comes to this stuff. My guy is a very gifted artist and poet. I have thousands of words of poetry and hundreds of drawings that i get on the envelopes. Since writing is also our primary communication, we have all kinds of discussion projects that we do. He also writes my kids and my firends, and that, to me is so very special.

Michael sends me drawings, poems, cards that he makes, and cartoons he gets that he thinks I'd enjoy. He has an awesome sense of humor, and he always manages to make me laugh. He remembers EVERYthing about me and my life; more than I do at times. He's reminded me of what I said in a letter that made him decide that he was in love with me (and the date of the letter, even). He draws these really expressive little faces in his letters---and he's a really REALLY good writer as well. About a year and a half ago, he wrote me this incredible poem; I read it often, and have a copy on my desk at home, my locker-door at work, and in the visor of my truck. The best thing he does for me (and I feel SO spoiled already) is to ALWAYS be there for me, and to be SO attentive and caring (though I think he worries too much). I AM the luckiest person alive!

My husband is a true romantic...He has a curio and makes beautiful cards with roses on them.. he writes love poems too...never has he sent me a funny one. He used to decorate his cards all the time but has gotten lazy in that dept. lately!!
