Okay, here's another silly question about visiting that maybe y'all can help me with: I've heard the metal detectors at SQ are very sensitive - I don't mind taking off my earrings, rings, necklace, but has anyone had a peircing set off the metal detector? I have a navel piercing, I don't want to take it out because I've had it for 11 years and never removed it! When you go through the metal detector, can you take off your rings and earrings and then just put them back on? Or should I just leave everything at home? My main worry is my bellybutton ring - anyone else had any experience with that at SQ?

Nope, I go in with my navel piercing and earrings... No problemo. :)

i have an eyebrow piercing and a tongue piercing and its never given me a problem at SQ. ive never had to take off my earrings either. hopefully this helps....

Never had a problem..... But one time i did get passed the detecters with change in my pocket how that happen i dont know....... i found out after i was already in the visiting room
