I posted today on the Gallery of what Staph Infection does to one's body.
Go to Gallery, scroll down to Health Care. These are photographs of my husband's body, and what the affect of Staph Infection has done to him. The new ones on his chest, haven't gone away yet. We went
to the doctor on Friday 5/7/04 and his doc packed the holes with guaze.
There is still leakage from both of these open sores. He is also taking a antiboctic called Methicillin, which he will have to take for 14 days. His doc
also recommended that he go to a Dematagist once the healing begins. It saddens me greatly that an infection such as this, is treatable but CDC allows
this to spread at a horrible rate. Prisons through out the united states are
infected with Staph Infection, with the number of inmates that are contracting this you would think that CDC would further investigate this
and get it under control. It's quite simple, treat the infection, antibocitics,
dressings, and a watchful eye for further damage, results: The infection is
stopped in it's tracks, from infecting others. An our great state of california
and it's health care problems in the system would be elimated, but I guess
from having to see this up front, CDC is more interested in asking for a larger
budget for it's out of control spending habits, then taking care of business
with the health care that our loved ones so rightfully deserve.
