jeff called friday he got shipped to coffee county on thursday from jackson/ he is now a little over 5 hours away--he says our son which will be 4 next week can now visit. he hasnt seen him since november! most of you remember that i have decided to move on with my life---i have been dating a guy for 10 months minus 2 months that jeff and i was talking about trying our life together again. well we decided this week that i would move in with my bf, and then jeff calls! we havent talked on the phone since 2-25-04. so now once again i feel so confused, i love my boyfriend he is very good to me and my boys-----i just feel so lost/

Even though I don't know you or your story so to speak, I just notice that sentence and it pops out at me. Your moving in with this guy,been with him for 10 months......that's almost a year! All I can really say is go with what your heart and your gut are telling you. And good luck to you! God bless!

Anyone have a family member there? Jeff says its a private prison---I think thats what he said. I was wondering about if I can mail him anything besides pics and letters. Also wondering about visitation he wants to see our son but I want to know what kind of place I am taking him and going alone and taking our son later is not an option it looks like its about a 5 hour or so drive!

Being that Coffee Co. Correctional Facility is a private prison, I would call the facility and ask all your questions directly to their staff since I am sure they do not adhere exactly with the GDC and GA State Prison rules. We have a post here with the general info., but that is very limited being that it is a private prison there was not much information posted.
