I just wonder if anyone of you has ever send stamps to your friends in US.
Any possibility to solve the stamp problem. I have gone through the money transfer thing. Gosh, this is more than complicated and not worse for a couple of stamps.
Any suggestions? :confused:
Bythe way, can anybody tell me what protective custody exactly means?
Do you think he is safe in this situation?

jes i send stamps to my son ,but they always hard to get over here...so I´m always try to find some Soldiers over here who can get them for me .
In florida you cant send no more then one book with 20 -32cent stamps adn it cant be over 7,60$ I think at least where my Son is.
As far as that money transfer.....I´ll send $ to the states to a friwend and she send the moneyorder to the Bank there.

well I get US stamps and put them between the german stamps on a spot where they most likely won´t get stamped by the machine. He then can peel them pff and use them.
Check if he may get stamps or not. If not, go for my method! IT WORKS ;)

My penpal in CA is not allowed to receive stamps from me (well...I don't know how in the heck I would get US stamps in Finland anyway :rolleyes: ) but I send him "international response coupons" that I can buy from post office. He can use those like stamps in his prison. So I have payed those here beforehand. I know those doesn't work in every prison, my penpal in OK said that they didn't know what that coupon was where he is so...but you can try that too.

I hope you get your problem solved! I know it costs extra to prisoners to send mail abroad.
