Hello All,

I would like to take a moment to say hello. My fiancee is in transit right now he was sentenced back in March. Still unsure of the time but it's looking like 65 months. I have been one of the lurkers. I have been visiting this site for several months now and I must say that it has helped tremendously. The information is great but knowing that I am not the only one going through this is very comforting. Initially I had no idea how I would get through this ordeal but after reading everybody's stories I am very confident that I will. Kudos to the founder, moderators, and members of this site!

Hi Talia,
We have been engaged for a year now (before he went in). Have you visited already. What side is yours on. Mine is on the Eastside. I will be going again in October.

I did 4 1/2 yrs on the Eastside. I got out in "98" And i hear now the camp and low are seperate.. It was all together when i was there...The worst part of being there was dealing with the CO's.... How is he doing there?

Congratulations (maybe a little late!)and welcome home. Yes the camp and low are seperate now. He never complains to me (probably doesn't want to worry me), he seems to be doing well and adjusting. Hopefully going to a low soon. When I went to visit I noticed some of the CO's were nasty.
