I'm from KY. I have this friend who was on parole for 10 yrs for manufacturing meth. Actually i have alot of friends in the pen for manufacturing. Truthfully 72% of people my age from here are in jail for it. It's a HUGE problem here... But anyways back to the story. This friend that's on parole got his house raided in Jan. by the cops and he got another manufacturing charge. But he wasn't cooking and since he is on parole they are trying to nail him with everything they can.... So our court system tacked on a new charge to him Haroboring Drug Addicts..... For having people stay at his house they just knew were on drugs.....My question to you is "Is this really a crime and if so shouldn't everyone get charged with it?" Because everyone techinally does drugs tabcoo, caffinee, etc. I think it is RIDULAIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did they charge him with manufacturing, In the raid? Im sorry, but if he was on probatation already for manufaturing, why was he still around or doing the crap? I guess I just have such a hard time with people that get a second chance then go back to the drug life. Family and friends get hurt again. My husband got 75 months for conspiracy to distribute 50 grams of meth, he didnt get caught with anything. If your friend got off with just parole the first time I think he got lucky. Maybe he needs some intense treatment. Just my opinion, missing loren

I am so against meth, that I don't even know where to begin. It messed up my life, and I don't even do it!!
I was married to a meth-head. His parents are devout christians and he uses 'getting saved' as a guilt trip every time. He is doing it right now. He just got out of County for a charge of unlawful restraint, he basically kidnapped his pregnant exgirlfriend and wouldn't let her leave, while on meth. Now he is telling his parents that he is clean and needs money to get back on his feet. Just yesterday, he spoke to my brother on the phone and asked him if he knew where he could get some crystal. Of course my brother was just released a week ago, and he learned his leason, and told the ex, no way. Now does the ex sound like he learned HIS lesson? I don't quite think so.
Meth-heads don't know what they do to other people, or if they do, they don't care. All that they want is the drops, and they don't care how they get it, its worse than crack and/or heroin. I have sat through many days and nights with people who come down hard from meth. I have seen the parinoia, watched through their halucinations and comforted and assured them that what they were seeing and hearing weren't real, over and over. Wiped away the sweat, fetched jar after jar of peanut butter and gallons of orange juice for their insane cravings that this menace calls for. I have seen people's teeth rot overnight, their faces age 15 years in one week. Sores on their faces, the dangerously unhealthy rapid weight loss. But worst of all, I see their children's and families' face during all of this, and it is pointless and unnecessary. So no, I have no pity for those who are incarcerated, gotten clean and then go back to the drug and get into trouble again. Shame on you, if you fool me once. Shame on me, if you fool me twice. Yes, I am angry, but if you had to live through all of the pain and agony that I have that this crap has caused, you would be angry too!!
