Hi, My name is Tom. I spent several years as a guest of the AZDOC and still have one or two friends there. I left Arizona the day my parole was up (3/1/2001) and now reside in Nebraska.

My time was spent in Douglas, Safford, Ft. Grant, a 6 month stint with the federal system in Tucson, and of course, my introductory weeks at Alhambra.

I am interested in keeping in touch with the happenings in the DOC and sharing whatever information (however dated) That I have.

I hope no one will be put off by my sense of humor, but that's the way I got through my time. If you lose ;your sense of humor you lose your senso of hope.

welcome to PTO...i am sure alot of us will understand a warped sense of humor...having had my son incarcerated for the most part of his adult life...i find i need that humor to survive alot of times...
HEY does anyone know if hallmark makes cards for incarcerated loved ones??? now that is my dream...to buy into that!!!!!LOL

I'm new here and am not sure how 'threads' really work,.. so I'm gonna reply to several in this same note:

SO,... I worked my way down the threat levels and "earned" myself a short stint at a minimum yard,...

Where I found out a bunch of new things.

#1 They send the dumb and obnoxious cops to minimun....

Takes awhile to figure out the how threads work. The more you read, and play around with it, the more comfortable you will be. And the more you get to know "us" as PTO, the more comfortable you will be in letting loose the humor.

But for right now... we will probably just pick on the new guy!! LOL

Hi! and welcome to PTO. I myself go to prison everyday for 40 hrs a week and yet to this day, I keep asking my wife what I did to go to prison. She said you were being a As..... Hole, so I kicked you out.
