For those that know me, you all know my story of Boo and my heartache that I felt when he was released and found out the truth of him being married...basically playing me the whole 4 years I supported him. I told myself I would never hurt like that again, and have worked hard the last 2 years keeping my relationships basically surface with men, not getting to close to anyone.

Well, I had a relationship with one man in particular and got pregnant. I gave birth last month to a daughter, and no him and I are not together, but I do love my child..more than life itself. Kendall joins my 11 year old son, Stephen :)

During my pregnancy, I got really close to an old boyfriend that I met back in 1994. He is from Georgia and moved to DC then (thats how we met). We lost touch with one another, then in November he contacted me and we got really close. He moved back to DC in January to be with me, not caring that I was pregnant with another man's child, just wanted to finally work on having the relationship we never had the chance to have.

Now for the drama....upon his moving to DC, he just picked up and left...not telling me that he was on parole for statutory rape (the girl was 17, he was 23...her mother caught them in bed...big mess). Instead of requested permission to move out of state...he just left. Got pulled over April 1, ran his driver license...and boom! the PO had put a warrant on him for leaving Georgia (no surprise there). So he is now incarcerated in VA, waiting for Georgia to come and get him. He seems to think that since this is his first violation, he won't have to do much time and his parole will be reinstated. Has anyone else gone through anything like this in Georgia that could possibly shed some light on the situation for me?

Thanks a lot.

:) Patrice

When Charlie was going to extradiated to Georgia from New York, he was told that the State of GA has 10 days to come get him.. Well guess what...the 10th day they came and got him.THey drove him straight thru leaving NY @ 3;00am...Trust me,they will more than likely come get him.. He was able to call me when he arrived there. It was 3:00am the next morning. They did stop and buy him a meal..

Hey Patrice...
I do not have any knowledge on this situation... but I will tell you this, GA came all the way up to WI to our house to get my fiance when he didn't up to court the first time, even though his attorney was there and told the courts we lived out of the state now. I believe it was within the 8 or 9th day that he missed his court appearance, so they are pretty quick.
I hope everything works out so that your man does not have to serve much time! Congrats on the baby :)
